About the Paintress

I am the paintress Trine Røssevold who lives, works and exists on the windswept west coast of Norway.

As a paintress, I carry a backpack filled with the history of art. It is a heavy backpack which at times makes my knees tremble but carrying this weight around gives me a strong back.

Part of my time is spent as Deputy Principle at Aalesund Art College. It is a privilege to be able to share the knowledge I have gathered and the questions I still have with my students and fellow artists.
